things are going pretty good right now. had a great weekend. which is always a good start.....then am really enjoying the time that i am spending with bn. i am trying not to get too excited....because as you can probably tell by my previous posts that this happens a lot. but this feels different somehow. we are so comfortable together. we'll see where it goes. no expectations yet.
so friday sus and andrew came by to visit. i love seeing them and miss them not being around more often. they need to move back from orlando. but i don't see that happening any time soon.....so i will just have to be content with the fact that she lives in a really cool place to visit.
i was pretty hurt by sn on friday night. he was supposed to stop by so that he could see sus and andrew but he forgot and made other plans. unfortunately the plans involved people coming over to his place to watch the cubbies. he asked if we could stop over there. bringing a baby to a place where people are drinking is not a good idea. i was upset for 2 reasons...1st he couldn't take a half and hour at the beginning of the game to stop by and see them...and 2nd he told me that he really wanted me to see his place...well if that were true don't you think he would have invited me to this party. oh well, he sent an email appologizing today. and i have forgiven him. so we're all good.
i went to logan square later that night. had a lot of great dances. cliff (one of the old timers from Fitzgerald's) was there. i sat and talked with him for quite a while. he was video taping the whole night. i want a copy of that take since he got some of my dances recorded. and they felt like really good ones. i finally talked with ml.....we are all good. he completely understood where i was coming from and we agreed that things never would have worked for us. so now we can still be friends.
saturday was nice because i could sleep in. then i just relaxed all day until i had to get ready for rb and rm's wedding. km and tm took me out to dinner with them. we went to a wonderful sushi restaurant. i was in heaven. the reception was fun. rb looked amazing. the dress was just perfect for her. i wish that bn could have gone with me but he had previous plans and i asked him last minute. too bad. maybe next time.
sunday i was rudely woken up at 7am by 8 gay guys in cheerleader uniforms outside my window chanting "go cubs, go cubs". once i realized that they were practicing to cheer on the marathoners, i wasn't so mad. actually it was quite funny. they really entertained the runners. everyone was laughing. julie and i were out there watching for bill. after we saw him pass our place, we then jumped on the 'L' with everyone else in chicago to see him come past the chinatown section. we found him there too. then we missed him at the finish line. it was pretty cool. i've never seen it before.
then bn and i had a great afternoon and evening together. the only bad part was that the cubs lost. but not to worry.....*crossing fingers*, they will hopefully win tonight!!!
