so i have gotten behind again. i'm not sure where to start....so here is an overview of the past week.
the parade was pretty fun on thanksgiving day. i only wish that we had been on a flat bed instead of dancing down the parade route. we could still have gotten off at different points to dance on the street then we could have gotten back on the flatbed to dance some more or rest. we were so tired by the time that we got to the end of the parade that we looked a little sloppy for the cameras. not too bad but not great.
went to my parents for the weekend. it was fine but kind of boring. julie and i try to get my parents to do stuff with us but they just want to sit and watch tv or sleep. it's not like we want to do strenuous exercise....we just wanted to play board games. the other thing that my mom did was spend hours telling julie and bill all about the cruise that they (julie and bill) are going in a couple of days. my parents just got back from a 10 day cruise on what was the sister ship to my sister's cruise. so my mom spent hours telling them every detail about the ship and what they could do. it was really annoying. i also learned a very big lesson. when i go on my next cruise....i am not telling mom about it until a couple of days before. julie handles mom much better than i do. i would get so frustrated that i would explode and then my mom would be hurt. i know that she is trying to be helpful so i am trying to learn new ways to deal with her. so far they aren't working but hopefully they will over time.
other than that....things are pretty good. the boss that has been driving me crazy....decided to take a position at our facility in Michigan. he will still be my boss only 3 above me now instead of 2 but now i won't have to deal with him on a day to day basis. it's the nit-picky stuff that he gets on me about that bugs me. now he won't be able to do that. yeah!!
everything else in my life is going fine. bn is great. he is such an amazing person. i'm really lucky to have him in my life.
