what a heartbreaker....it was so hard to watch the cubs lose game 7 last night.
not all of the night was bad though. i have girls night every wednesday night with a group of my sister's friends. we are in the process of watching the bachelor. we actually have a pool going similar to fantasy football except with bachelorettes. it's pretty funny. the only problem last night was that the girl's condo only had one tv. so jules and i said we would bring over our 13" tv from the kitchen. it was really funny getting a cab when we had a tv that we were carrying. but it all worked out. we brought a splitter with us and another cable cord. on our way there, we realized that we would need another cable. oops. one cable into the splitter and then 2 that come out. didn't think that one through very well. luckily, tn had another cable that connected to her computer. so we were all set....the game on the big tv and the bachelor on the small one. it was pretty funny actually. we had a great time up until the cubs lost.
to console ourselves, ct, my sis and i went out to the bar. this was perhaps not the brightest of moves. i know that if the cubbies had won, we would have all headed to wrigley and partied out on the streets. now i would have been really tired today but i wouldn't have been drinking until 2am then hung over at work. again...not too bright!!! oh well. all i have tonight is my parade class from 8-9:30 then i am going home to relax and sleep.
i was talking with julie last night and told her that i want bill and her to meet bn. but not in a setting with everyone else. i really like him and he treats me so well. but julie is a much better judge of this than i am. so i really want her opinion.
