first i want to say happy birthday to Emma and a belated happy birthday (it was on the 9th) to Cathy!!

i've noticed something. i tend to write less when things are going good in my life. i am going to try and write more often but if i am not writing it is usually a pretty good thing.

it's december and it always amazes me how many things happen in december. there is something going on almost every night. i really need a night to myself. the good thing is that i don't have plans this saturday so i am going to have a day to myself. i may even treat myself to a massage/facial. we'll see.

i get to see the redwings play the blackhawks tonight at the united center!! go redwings!! should be fun. i will be there with a bunch of blackhawk fans. jd is going to and doesn't care either way who wins the game so she said she would cheer for the redwings with me. i can't wait.

i really need to get some more fish for my tank. i have one algae eater and he is looking pretty bored. i want to get a school of neons. and maybe some frogs. maybe i will do that on saturday instead of the massage. i finally cleaned my tank so it is all ready for new fish. plus it will give oreo some new friends to watch. he is always fascinated by the new fish. he will bat at the tank and the fish will all swim to the other side of the tank until they figure out that he can't get to them. then they taunt him. then oreo gets bored and ignores them again. i know this sounds boring but i really enjoy watching the crazy things that my cat does.

ts came over last night and we watched Chocolat. i forgot how great that movie is. plus ts had never seen it so it was fun watching it with her.
