happy new year everyone!!

this has got to be the longest week in history. ok maybe it's because it is my first full week in 3 weeks. plus it is really fricken cold. i'm just glad that it is supposed to warm up this weekend.....all the way to 40, woohoo!!! actually that does sound nice compared to the -20 wind chills that we have been experiencing. i am already tired of bundling up just to go to the store.

last sunday we got to play our first snow frizbee football of the year. it was actually pretty fun. we got to slide in the snow and even had somewhat of a snowball fight. the wind was a little strong in one direction but other than that it was a good time. this sunday is supposed to have rain/snow showers...should be fun playing frizbee in that. i just hope it gets warm enough to play. right now it would be way too cold for me.

a guy that i ride the train with has a great website that shows his photography that he is selling. the pictures are amazing. he even went on an african safari to take some of these pictures. i'm so jealous....i would love to do that. he is going again in july of 2005 and asking people if they want to join him and his wife. maybe i will go. who knows.
