splinters hurt

sorry about the pms entry earlier...but it did make me feel better to vent so i guess it was worth it.

splinters suck!!!

yesterday, i was walking across my floor at home and slid my foot a little as i stopped. well...i ended up getting a splinter in the ball of my foot. it hurt like hell. ben had to use a new exacto knife to open it up enough to remove it. we were right by the door to our place and with all the noises that i was making, the neighbors had to think something was strange. i actually thought about the scene from the movie "Look Whose Talking" where kirsty alley gets a splinter and john travolta gets it out and her mom thinks they are having sex. funny how these things cross your mind when you are in pain.

36 more days until our wedding. it is all coming together. i am getting excited. we have been doing wedding stuff every weekend so i feel like we don't have a life. i know that's not true but we haven't done anything with friends in so long that I have forgotten what it is like to go out. i'm not complaining...just noticing. it will all be worth it in the end. we are getting replies every day and it is still exciting. we are getting more no responses but those are mostly from people we were pretty sure couldn't make it anyway. looks like we will have closer to 130 guests which is a great number for us.
