sickies and doggies

so i was up most of the night sneezing. i'm pretty sure that it is just allergies but now my throat is killing me. that is the worst feeling. it hurts everywhere in your head. it seems like everything is connected to your throat...ears especially. i did go to work this morning but only lasted until 11am. part of my reason for leaving was because i was so tired but also because the wife of the guy who sits next to me is expecting. and if i do have a cold, i don't want to get him sick. i hate being sick!!!

the dog comes into play because on my drive to work today, i saw a dog wandering around. he was coming up to the intersection where i was and almost got hit crossing the street. luckily he didn't. he is a beautiful husky who obviously hadn't missed too many meals...plus i saw that he had a collar on with tags. i called 311 and told them about him. they contacted animal control. hopefully they found him before he got hurt. he was just so beautiful.
