i had a very amazing, productive weekend. very satisfying!! friday night was incredible. i took a trapeze class! yes as in the circus, flying trapeze kind!! it was such a rush. i even got to swing up on the high trapeze (attached to a harness). they let me swing then hook my legs on the bar (like in grade school)...then i let go of my hands.....then i as i swung back i caught the hands of the guy that was up there.....and let go of my legs and swung with him. then he dropped me to the net. what a rush!!! i think i am going to take classes now.

after the class, jd and i went out for thai food. it was really nice spending time with her....just the 2 of us. we called it an early evening since she is training for a marathon that she is running in Rome....and i wanted to clean my room on saturday.

i started out saturday being a bum. sat around watching tv and relaxing.....probably a good thing since i was kind of sore from the trapeze class. then i spent 3 hours and 4 garbage bags cleaning my room. i finished all of it except my closet. very productive day overall. bn and i went to see his band play at schuba's. they are really good and fun to watch.

sunday i decided that i wanted to finish the rest of my cleaning....i started with the hall closet where we just keep putting everything that we don't know what to do with. it is all clean and organized now. don't know how long it will stay that way but at least it is good for a while. then i tackled my closet. i ended up with 5 bags of clothes that i can take to goodwill. very satisfying.

overall, a very good weekend. i get so much accomplished. there was one thing i didn't get to (looking for a new job) but i am still very satisfied with my weekend. my goal is to start looking for a new job this week. i'm going to find as many headhunters as i can and let them do the legwork for me. wish me luck!! i really just want to find a job in the city and cut down on my commute.
